The Danish Health Authority (Sundhedsstyrelsen) had a clear goal. They created a long-form video campaign focussed on promoting a better dialogue between teenagers and their parents.

The Danish Health Authority made a campaign targeted parents with teenagers. Looking at teenager’s health and well-being, it is important that parents get involved, as this particular period of a teenager’s life can be a turbulent time. They might seek different paths in order to be more independent.
In the campaign’s 2 episodes, that can be streamed for free on Biites, parents and teenagers discuss various teenage dilemmas, such as alcohol, parties and curfews.
The message in the campaign required more than a short ad, which made Wavemaker look for a partner that could help with long-form content and guaranteed views.

With Biites, The Danish Health Authority could execute their campaign in an efficient way and the KPI’s were met beyond all expectations.
Biites ensured that the target group visiting the platform, stayed and saw an average of 70 seconds (expectations were 60 seconds) of The Danish Healthcare System’s campaign.
In addition to the time spent watching the campaign, Biites also delivered 8% more views and 27% more minutes than expected.
